Air Travel
Contestants traveling by air to the Carlton Woods Invitational should fly into George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) located 30 minutes south of The Woodlands. Shuttle service will be available to/from the airport and for all tournament activities.

For those contestants requiring lodging in The Woodlands, a block of rooms have been held at the Courtyard Marriott @ The Woodlands, Sunday, 5/11/08 thru Wednesday, 5/14/08, with check out on Thursday, 5/15/08. The Courtyard Marriott is located in Town Center at 1020 Lake Front Circle, near The Woodlands Mall, the Market Street shops, restaurants and theatre, and is approximately 8 miles from The Club at Carlton Woods. Shuttle service will be available to and from the Club.

 Driving Directions
The Club at Carlton Woods is located in The Woodlands, Texas, approximately 27 miles north of Houston.
From Interstate 45 north of Houston, take the Woodlands Parkway exit.
 Proceed west on Woodlands Parkway and turn right on Carlton Woods Drive, approximately one mile past Kuykendahl Road. Proceed through the traffic circle to the entrance gate of The Club at Carlton Woods (main clubhouse and Nicklaus Course).
To reach the Fazio Course, turn left (south) from Woodlands Parkway onto Kuykendahl Road. The course entrance is approximately 2 miles on the left.
Weather
The average high temperature in The Woodlands during the tournament dates has been 85° and the average low has been 65° (the record high/low temperatures for these dates have been 94°/45°). It is reasonable to expect temperatures during tournament play at Carlton Woods to be between 65° and 85° depending on tee time. Rainfall is possible in May, usually in the form of late afternoon showers or thunderstorms. Plan attire needs accordingly. During the Carlton Woods Invitational, sunrise will be about 6:28 a.m. and sunset about 8:08 p.m. Tournament play will commence each day at 8:00 a.m.
